1) What were your favourite artists when you were growing up?
Well I had loads, Kylie Minogue was my favourite inspiration at the time I realised I wanted to follow in her footstep and to be as famous as her.
2) Who inspired you when you made your decision to take this route for your career?
As time has gone on my main not only friend but inspiration to follow my heart is the beautiful Rihanna she is so bubbly and great at what she does she can always put a great performance on without failure.
3) How do you feel about your current album?
Ermm, yeah I’m really happy with it so many people worked so hard to complete it in time for the deadline I can tell you know it was of the most stressful times of my career but seeing the outcome after brings me so much delight and then makes all the worry worthwhile. I just want to say thanks to all the team who worked so hard and put their all into this album, I just hope you all enjoy it!
4) What was your favourite part in making your video for your latest song?
The costumes it’s got to be, I loved them, really took me back to my childhood when all the girls went out up town having a good old laugh. The crew were just amazing I mean we were up at 6 starting to shoot every day and they just kept you awake keeping to coffee and banter flowing.
5) How did you find this experience when you first started in this business? And are there any other ambitions you would like to fulfil?
Ohhh its was so overwhelming at first but as soon as you get into the routine it’s still so difficult but you become gradually more used to it and I’m not saying it gets easier but the lifestyle, well you adapt to it. My main ambition is to go on tour and do a duet album with Rihanna, never know might happen.
6) We know you have a huge fan base. What's it feel like when you get on stage and they're screaming your name?
It is one the THE most encouraging heart racing experiences I have ever felt, imagine being on a roller coaster when your heart is beating twice as fast than before you get on. It like that but the boost you get from it makes you want to do more and go faster.
7) How well do you get on with your management? Do you have a good relationship?
Ohh so well they are like my second family. They look after me so well, I don’t know what I would do without them. I mean Eddy my personal assistant acts like my brother and makes sure everything is organised for me and in shape.
8) Do you find it difficult being on your own on stage singing? Is it at all daunting for you or have you gotten used to it? Do you think life would be easier as a member of a group?
Ermmm it is daunting, being on a massive stage and it’s just there all for you to use, but once you get going you can’t stop, also I’m not completely alone I have my boys from the band behind me to boost me up.
9) You have been compared to 'Rihanna' and 'Beyoncé'. Would you agree with this and why?
I have indeed and it is a great honour, they have both become close friends to me and without their help I don’t think I would be this confident as I am now within the business. In some respects I do agree with it as we have the same music style and fashion style but we are all our own people at the end of the day.
10) Do you prefer to keep your social life away from your work life?
Yeah I don’t get how people like Katy Price can be so strong and let people into her life I think it would affect me too much and put me down she is so strong minded I respect her so much for that. But as anyone knows in this industry it is so hard to keep your private life with relations and that to yourself as there are always people out there that want to stir something up to make it juicier.
11) Do you ever think a change in genre through your music will ever change?
No, I don’t think I could change my style of music because it is me I reflect it through from what I like to listen to myself. Although I do like other genres of music like Pop and artists such as The Saturdays but that’s not what has inspired me throughout my life, which has made me who I am today.
12) Do you ever want to settle down and put your music aside when getting older?
Oh yeah of course I want to settle down but music will always be a part of me so I think I will do what Tina Turner did carry on but settle down and do come back or special tours for my fans as they become older or even the younger newer fans that join my fan base.
13) Where would you love to become well known?
America, definitely. I love their enthusiasm when they’re in the crowd.
14) If you had the chance what other artist would you work with and why?
Well I would of loved to of meet and worked with Michael Jackson because in my eyes he is like the god of the music industry. Jay Z is the artist however I would love to work with in my next album, maybe a Rihanna and Jay Z combination!
15) You play at a lot of gigs and festivals, such as Glastonbury, V festival and Reading. Which did you find was the best to perform at?
They were all great the crowd’s reactions were all amazing but if I had to choose it would be Glastonbury just because of the vibe, the weather helped as it brought everyone’s best side out and there was no rain to prevent performances.
