Magazine Title.

I was stuck for the choice i had to make for my title as i didnt know where to start. Although i did know i wanted it to be kept short or abbreviated, as in my eyes unless the titles catchy a long title can be boring or wouldnt stay in someones head as easily. A made-up word or a word to do with the particular genre would be a good idea however as it would be original and creative however i think i may use a therm used within the music industry. As there was many different ways it made my choice and descision more difficult.

Firstly i searched on google themonology related to music and it cam up with hundreds of word to each letter of the alphabet, then i simply at random clicked on a letter and searched through which word caught my eye then researched what it meant. I repeated this process and in the end bought the range down to three possibilities.I thought that this was a good idea as people with knowledge within music would automatically understand what the magazine genre is and therefore would then relate. Also the thermonlogy word would relate to all styles of music.In the end i chose the name DUO as it mean two like a duet, with a connotation of the magazine and the reader as a duet. Also the word was short and snappy resulting into it being easy to remember.The majority of the results to the question of their favourite magazine in my questionnaire chose 'NME' and i believe this is due to them being able to remember the name and therefore automatically think of it when questioned about a music magazine. You will then have to read on through the magazine or cover lines to be able to then realise which genre of music it is based attracting them into reading more.
