Contents Page Analysis 3.

This contents page has a pale pink background giving it a more of an old feel compared to the other magazines which give a more modern tone and theme using harsh bright colours. The soft tone in colours makes it more of theme with chilled out music in my eyes, not heavy metal or screaming music. The main colour pallets are mustard yellow and a pale pink with the text in black which stands out the most as it is the darkest colour on the page. The pictures are scattered in a line underneath one another layering slightly upon one another give a more random look this indicates that it wasn’t set out in great detail although the whole page layout is rather simple and plain. The headlines of each description are in capitals and bold to make them stand out more and bring the readers attention there. Unlike the others there is no little article about the picture but just a list of what feature on each page, the pictures do however relate to certain bit featured at the side in the text that then later come up in more detail in the magazine. The master head is covered with a yellow panel then looks like the letters for the text have been cut out, unfortunately this makes it look less important but still does stand out. The title gets straight to the point in saying ‘in this issue’ which is a clear understanding and works well and that seems to be the theme throughout the page. I think they could of done with images more well known to a wider audience and brighter colours so it catches the viewers attention more like the other magazine because that makes the reader want to read on.
