Double Page Spread Analysis 3.

As soon as a i look at this double page spread i notice the bright blue background which is boxed around the main headlines and features of the page. By using this it makes it stand out and it is then the first thing the readers looks at grabbing their attention. The masthead is in a simple font shown in capitals to make it stand out more, the colour of the font black is a perfect contrast. The photograoh of the band has the main colouring of orange black and white which then work well with the blue then the black and white are the other colours for the double page spread. However the text doesnt seem of much importance as it doesnt take much of the page up and has a little amount of space. Layering plays a big part on the page as the headline layer the picture alot however not covering the main parts such as the band members themselves. At the side of the page is a column with a lottle information about other bands as well, this indicated thers not alot really to say about the other band however they are imprtant as they are on a double page spread. This part of the page stands out more than the original article as the black is so dark so it makes it stand out more with the white writing, also the theme of the blue also co-insides. The three main colour pallets are black, blue and white. The layout is modern and looks like it was randomly placed however it makes it still look neat and gives more of an edge to it. I would proberly use this style of laying my double page spread out as it look young edgy and more modernt it also works well by placing bring colours behind main text.
